Kashmir University Statement By Controller Examination For Students

STATEMENT BY CONTROLLER EXAMS (KASHMIR UNIVERSITY)

Genuine complaints are being received from many students for having NA (Not Available) in their B.G 6th results. The reason behind this is that many colleges have failed to submit the practical awards of students to the University in due course of time.

One of the colleges has forwarded the practical result of 78 candidates today (a day after the formal result stands declared). I will not disclose the name of that college. It is obvious that result of such candidates would be placed under NA category.Until and unless we do not get practical marks of students from their colleges, we are not in a position to declare A free result. Students are not aware of this, they always blame university but we are helpless.

Besides, there are some students who have passed their 1st or 2nd year under annual (yearly) scheme exams and later joined semester system to complete graduation, the 6th semester result of such candidates is yet to be declared. We have to fine-tune these two schemes and for that purpose we have constituted a committee. The meeting of committee is scheduled tomorrow and hopefully we are going to declare the result of such students in coming days.

Moreover, we have created a helpline EMAIL ID for the those students who are having complaint, representation, grievance or query with regard to their result As everyone is aware that in view of the current pandemic situation, neither students can directlvycome to university or we asked them to do so. Instead they can mail their concern to ugresulthelp@uok.edu.in

Today, i received several calls from students complaining that they didn't get any response on their mail. I would like to tell them that we have designated some officials to addess the issues (mails). They will process the mails and forward the same to the concerned quarter Students must understand that free movement is difficult these days due to lockdown So i request them to have patience, it will need some time. All the representations will be redressed in due course of time.
